Location: Fargo, ND

Shift: Day

Job Schedule: Full-time

Weekly Hours: 38.00

Starting Rate: $29.50 - $44.50 (Experience credit added to wage)

About the Department

We invite experienced RNs to join our dynamic team in the Hematology and Medical Oncology Clinic! Here, we collaborate closely with psych-oncology services, therapy, radiation oncology, inpatient units, research, infusion departments, and more. Our focus is on delivering exceptional patient care, leveraging the latest technology to ensure the best patient experience while providing care closer to home.

Your schedule will consist of 8 or 9-hour day shifts, typically from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to patient inquiries over the phone, assessing symptoms and medical needs using triage algorithms.
• Guide patients to the appropriate level of care and schedule appointments with healthcare providers.
• Document patient information and health conditions for follow-up care.
• Maintain and develop triage protocols, ensuring timely updates to patient healthcare information.
• Educate patients based on incoming calls and inquiries.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• One year of healthcare experience is preferred.
• Must hold an unencumbered RN license in the relevant state(s) or obtain multistate licensure within the first 3 months.
• Complete all licensing requirements within the first 30 days of employment.
• Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
