We are looking for a couple (or individual) to live at our retreat center and serve as the caretaker/host. The primary role of this job is to oversee the property. This would include: monitoring houses, lodges, and meeting spaces between events--keeping an eye out for things like leaky faucets, alarms going off, lights left on, etc.; locking and unlocking facilities; setting thermostats; collecting mail; gathering trash. A major part of this job would be turning over the lodge for the next set of guests. This would include changing sheets, washing towels, cleaning the bathrooms, vacuuming, and cleaning the common areas. The couple is expected to represent our Catholic mission and be a welcoming presence of Christ to all guests.
