Position: Refrigeration Technician

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay: $21 - $28/Hour

Shift: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM (2nd Shift)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Refrigeration Technician to join our client's team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of customer and company equipment. The ideal candidate will perform services safely, efficiently, and professionally, contributing to our operational success and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs professionally and promptly.
• Review and verify complaints before diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Accurately diagnose repair needs, communicate with supervisors, and identify upsell opportunities.
• Perform maintenance and repairs that meet customer requirements and manufacturer standards.
• Execute warranty repairs in compliance with OEM guidelines.
• Create detailed work orders in the DIS system, documenting completed repairs and parts used.
• Maintain and utilize personal tools to complete assigned tasks effectively.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills and achieve certification.
• Conduct repairs in both shop settings and mobile service trucks as needed.
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License, DOT Medical Card, and forklift operator’s license.
• Ensure company vehicles and tools are clean, safe, and properly maintained.
• Assist in facility and vehicle repairs as assigned, ensuring clean and organized workspaces.
• Comply with workplace safety guidelines and company values.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting 75 lbs. and climbing ladders or platforms.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in refrigeration equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License, DOT Medical Card, and ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and perform other job-related tasks.
