We are seeking a highly skilled Red Hat Solutions Architect with expertise in OpenShift and DevOps to join an existing team of Red Hat engineers, directly supporting the customer on-site in San Antonio, Texas. This team is responsible for architecting, integrating, and supporting Red Hat products across the customers enterprise, with a focus on OpenShift Container Platform 4 and application deployment.

The selected candidate will provide technical leadership, planning, and DevOps expertise, supporting both operational and development needs. This role requires deep knowledge of Red Hat technologies, DevOps practices, and experience in application deployment using OpenShift Container Platform 4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership : Lead the planning, organizing, and technical direction of small to medium-sized project teams, ensuring the quality and timeliness of customer deliverables.
• OpenShift Application Deployment : Lead application deployments on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4, optimizing performance, scalability, and security in cloud-native environments.
• Subject Matter Expertise : Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Red Hat technologies, particularly OpenShift and DevOps, while building broader expertise across other Red Hat products and solution offerings.
• DevOps Practices : Implement and refine DevOps pipelines and processes, ensuring smooth and efficient automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Architectural Design and Guidance : Provide architectural design and direction for executed solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

• Clearance : TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FS Poly) is mandatory.
• IAT Level II (ie Security+ Certification)
• Extensive experience with Red Hat technologies, including OpenShift Container Platform 4, DevOps, and application deployment.
• Strong expertise in implementing and managing DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
