Job Description

We’re seeking a strategic and self-driven Program Manager to oversee and align cross-functional initiatives across our growing technology organization. With a defined technology roadmap and a team of 50+ professionals across multiple verticals—including Software Engineering, Tech Ops, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Corporate Enablement—you will serve as the connective tissue across all workstreams, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, well-managed, and executed with visibility and accountability.

In this newly created role, you will be the central point of coordination for all technology programs. You’ll work closely with vertical leads, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure roadmaps are aligned, interdependencies are identified, risks are mitigated, and business objectives are met.

Initially, this is a hands-on, individual contributor role with the potential to grow into a larger team leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Maintain a holistic view of all technology programs and projects; track progress, risks, and dependencies across teams and initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with leaders across verticals—including Helpdesk, Engineering (services, data, mobile), Enterprise Architecture, Corporate Enablement, Infrastructure/Ops, and DevOps—to ensure program alignment with the broader technology roadmap.
  • Strategic Planning: Facilitate quarterly and annual planning processes to ensure alignment of technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Governance & Communication: Create frameworks for project intake, prioritization, tracking, and reporting. Drive transparency and accountability through dashboards, reports, and regular status updates.
  • Execution Oversight: Identify and unblock program-level issues, manage change, and ensure that critical milestones are delivered.
  • Process Improvement: Build and refine agile and program management practices tailored to each vertical’s maturity and needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with Product Management, Marketing, Corporate teams, and executive leadership to communicate priorities and surface critical decision points.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within a technology organization or software company.
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional technical teams and workflows—e.g., engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, helpdesk, and analytics.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-team portfolios across a matrixed environment.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment and accountability without formal authority.
  • Familiarity with agile, kanban, and waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and change management skills.
  • Self-starter with strong business acumen and the ability to adapt in a growing and evolving environment.
  • Experience with program management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com) and reporting platforms.
