Job Overview

• Dresdner Robin is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to work on a full-time OR part-time basis. The qualified candidate will be responsible for: Compiling, analysis and interpretation of survey field data to produce maps, plans and other deliverable documents including:

1. Route Surveys
2. Boundary Surveys
3. Topographic Surveys
4. ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
5. Construction Layout Staking
6. As-Built Surveys
7. Floodplain Surveys and Elevation Certifications

• Providing leadership and guidance to internal and field staff to ensure surveys are conducted in efficient manner by identifying known survey reference points and significant features in the survey area, and review of survey data to ensure accuracy Performing QA/QC of final deliverables.
• Maintaining project budgets and deliverable schedules.
• Interfacing with customers and internal staff to deliver assignments in a timely manner in accordance with project schedules.

Position Qualifications

• Applicants that will be considered for this position must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and skills:
• 5+ Years of experience in land surveying, in the state of NJ
• An N.J. PLS license, – in addition, a New York PLS License is desirable
• Strong CAD skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Microstation V8i experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites within the NJ and NY area
• Must be willing work overtime when needed
• Must be able to pass a standard drug/alcohol screening
