Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive part-time Production Assistant to support our content production team. This role is instrumental in ensuring smooth operations for photo and video shoots, from pre-production planning to on-site execution and post-production organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Shoot Preparation:

  • Set up studio or location spaces, ensuring all equipment, props, and materials are ready.

  • Assist in sourcing, organizing, and transporting props, wardrobe, and production essentials.

  • Manage on-site logistics, confirming shoot locations, talent schedules, and ensuring smooth arrivals.

  • Handle release forms and other necessary shoot documentation.

  • Follow production guidelines and creative direction to align with shoot objectives

On-Set Responsibilities:

  • Assist photographers with lighting adjustments and other technical tasks.

  • Ensure props, wardrobe, and set elements are properly positioned and styled.

  • Provide support to talent/models, ensuring their comfort and readiness.

  • Maintain a smooth workflow, tracking the shot list to ensure all required content is captured.

  • Oversee scene maintenance between takes, ensuring consistency.

  • Curate music, refreshments, and entertainment for an engaging shoot atmosphere.

Post-Shoot Duties:

  • Safely disassemble and store gear, props, and set materials.

  • Maintain and organize prop inventory and storage.

  • Participate in bi-weekly team meetings to review past shoots and assist in organizing, labeling, and sorting images for post-production..

Logistics and Administrative Tasks:

  • Coordinate with key production team members, including photographers, stylists, producers, clients, and talent.

  • Maintain production schedules, ensuring efficient time management.

  • Assist with budget tracking for props, wardrobe, and catering, ensuring costs stay within approved limits.

General Support & Safety Compliance:

  • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing any on-site needs.

  • Maintain a safe production environment, ensuring proper equipment setup and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Provide creative input when appropriate, particularly regarding set design or visual composition..

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple aspects of production efficiently.

  • Excellent communication abilities, particularly when coordinating large teams and talent.

  • Attention to detail, ensuring a polished and professional final product.
