Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-driven Production Artist to join a high-performing creative production team supporting large-format, offset, and digital print projects . This role requires a sharp eye for quality, a working knowledge of prepress workflows , and the ability to follow detailed production instructions while juggling multiple priorities.

📍 Location: Burbank

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow company security policies and asset management protocols.
• Accurately interpret, enter, and follow instructions in production assembly tickets.
• Preflight client files, troubleshoot issues, and resolve file problems related to print and desktop publishing.
• Manage uploads, downloads, and file transfers using FTP and other software tools.
• Perform Xerox outputs and rule ups, ensuring files adhere to all quality standards.
• Verify file accuracy, including dimensions, color, mechanicals, and layout integrity, before production or vendor handoff.
• Maintain organized job bags with approved comps, colors, and client content prior to production.
• Send PDFs for client approvals and maintain the company’s photo and template libraries.
• Download and organize photos; assist with ongoing asset library maintenance.
• Ensure quality assurance protocols are followed at all stages of prepress.
• Stay current on evolving tools and technologies to improve workflow and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional prepress experience.
• Deep understanding of print production across offset, large-format digital, silkscreen, and pre-media processes.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat), Microsoft Office, and supporting tools like Pit Stop, Suitcase, CyberDuck, and VNC.
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Collaborative team player who thrives in deadline-driven environments.
