Job Description

Scion Staffing is currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for an impactful nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting the Jewish community! JOB DUTIES:

1. Conduct assessments, interventions, and consultations for children and adolescents in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.
2. Provide support to children with developmental, behavioral, and learning needs.
3. Design and deliver occupational therapy assessment and treatment plans in various settings (home, school, and community).
4. Collaborate with specialists in mental health, speech, language, and developmental fields to create effective treatment plans.
5. Maintain an active therapy caseload with at least 50% billable time.
6. Provide consultation services to preschools and elementary schools.
7. Ensure accurate and timely documentation for assessments, interventions, consultations, and billing.
8. Respond promptly to client and employee inquiries, delivering high-quality and innovative services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. 2-5 years of experience working with children and youth across various settings.
3. Strong background in Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Sensory Integration, and Learning Disabilities, with a focus on early intervention and evidence-based practices.
4. Deep understanding of child development and parent education.
5. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
In addition to being part of an organization with a fantastic mission and positive, team-oriented culture, the annual salary for this role ranges from $75-95K, depending on experience, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work with a financially stable nonprofit serving over 120,000 people annually. Benefits include a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, as well as generous paid time off: 16 holidays (including federal and Jewish holidays), and 3 weeks of vacation in addition to sick leave.
