Pay Range: $38 - $42/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures timely processing of multi-state semi-monthly payrolls in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles via Dayforce payroll system.
Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
Processes wage garnishments, pay levies and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner, including reporting to the necessary State office or jurisdiction
Assists employees and staff with general questions related to payroll, leave accruals, wage deductions, fringe benefits and other pay related issues
Works with Benefits to coordinate leaves of absence under FMLA, Medical or other unpaid leaves
Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records
Processes Manual Payments/ACH transactions
Handle unemployment claims and verifications forms as needed
Performs other job-related duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Key Skills; Dayforce
Payroll
Manual Payments/ACH transactions
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Demonstrate high attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
The ability to work under tight deadlines
Monitor, audit, adjust and reconcile payroll data
Strong sense of urgency in meeting customer needs
Very strong personal communication skills – must be outgoing and have the ability to work well with all levels within the organization
Experience with Dayforce payroll system a plus
Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role
Minimum 2 years of payroll experience (specifically processing and running payroll)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business or Human Resources preferred
Working knowledge of Workday HCM and Time Tracking a plus
Finance and or General Ledger Processing a plus
