Part-Time Nanny | West Village, NYC Schedule: Monday & Tuesday + Additional Saturday Hours (Flexible)
Hours: 25-30 hours per week (potential for more)
Child's Age: 8 months old
Travel: Occasional travel preferred

Position Overview: A warm and welcoming family in the West Village is seeking a loving, attentive, and experienced part-time nanny to care for their 8-month-old baby . The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about infant milestones, passionate about child development, and comfortable creating a nurturing and engaging environment. This role requires flexibility, as the family may need additional support on Saturdays (hours flexible), and there is potential for additional hours in the future. The family would also love someone open to occasional travel .

Responsibilities:

• Provide warm, attentive care for the baby, ensuring safety and well-being at all times
• Engage in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, sensory, and motor development
• Follow the baby's nap and feeding schedule , including preparing bottles and introducing solids
• Change diapers, assist with potty training when age-appropriate
• Maintain a tidy and organized nursery and play areas
• Handle light baby-related housekeeping (e.g., washing bottles, baby laundry, sanitizing toys)
• Communicate effectively with parents about the child's progress and daily activities
• Accompany the family on occasional domestic and international trips as needed
• Provide flexibility for occasional additional hours

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced with infants (preferably 2+ years of experience with babies under 1 year old)
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Knowledgeable in age-appropriate developmental activities
• Warm, engaging, and proactive in creating a safe and enriching environment
• Comfortable working in a private home and respecting the family's routines and preferences
• Reliable and punctual , with a strong work ethic
• Open to occasional travel with the family

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate $30- $40
• Guaranteed hours with room for additional scheduling flexibility
• Opportunities for travel and additional hours as needed
