Job Title: Paralegal (in-house/corporate)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (on-site)

Job-Type: Permanent

Salary Range: $80K - $100K

Referral Fee: $2,000

Employment Eligibility: Gravity cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer directly (we are not open to contract or “corp to corp” agreements).

Position Overview:

As an in-house Paralegal, you will be part of a small (but growing) in-house legal team. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of paralegal functions to support the Legal Department and Corporation. These duties will include administrative and legal operations, corporate entity maintenance, etc.

• Duties & Responsibilities:
• Corporate entity maintenance – registrations, annual report filings, etc.
• Process/administer KYC requests and filings
• Work with legal counsel on any work that is being handled by outside firms
• Coordinate and organize all Legal Department projects, meetings, activities, etc.
• Receive and track service of process and intake matters for tracking purposes in RMIS
• Prepare, distribute, and monitor litigation holds
• Create, update, and maintain organizational documents
• Draft corporate resolutions, correspondence, and other similar documents
• Assist with corporate governance matters
• Prepare and revise NDA’s and other agreements based on existing forms and templates
• Perform basis legal research and draft routine legal documents for review by Legal Department staff
• Required Experience & Skills:
• 5+ years of experience working as a Paralegal
• Paralegal Certificate and/or college degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in Adobe Professional or similar programs
• Great organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage work, triage, and prioritize tasks
• Familiarity with RMIS (Risk Management Information System) – Origami preferred

Nice to Have Experience:

• Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project management program
• Familiarity with web-based corporate governance systems, such as Diligent
• Utah Notary commission
