About the Role:

Pack high quality ice cream cones, pie crusts, and animal crackers into boxes in a safe and efficient manner

Main Responsibilities:

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to: 

• Pack finished product in accordance with prescribed packaging
• Maintain quality of product and production efficiency.
  • In all packing operations, remove inferior product or packaging materials.
  • Alert Operators of any problems or malfunctions.

• Safely remove packaging materials from material racks and assemble at workstations as required. 

  • Seal cases as needed.

  • Maintain housekeeping in their general work area.

  • Performs additional duties as they relate to this job classification

Who we are looking for:

• Able to work overtime, weekends, when required.
• Willing to work various shifts
• Must be available on an “as needed” basis; willing to train in areas where needed, and be available to work as scheduled
• Must be willing and able to read factory documents as necessary to understand and follow equipment operation, quality standards and safety procedures
• Must be able to complete paperwork as needed for the job, including documentation of product codes, rejection of materials, material usage and quality records
• Must be willing to communicate with Supervisor, Maintenance, and co-workers about issues and concerns as related to the line operations
• Willing to work in a position that requires you to stand or walk continuously throughout the shift
