Job Description

A loving family is seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny for their 8-month-old baby. They are looking for someone with a background in teaching, ideally with knowledge of Montessori education or other early childhood teaching experience.


Position Details:

• Schedule: 22 hours per week
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 1 PM - 6 PM
  • Friday & Saturday: 1 PM - 7 PM
• Compensation: $35-$40 per hour (Payroll)
• Location: Private family home (No pets)
• Commitment: Long-term position (at least until the child starts school)
• PTO: Not included

Responsibilities:

• Provide nurturing and attentive care to an 8-month-old baby
• Engage in early childhood education activities, including reading, sensory play, and Montessori-inspired learning
• Foster a calm and supportive environment for a very calm baby
• Prepare nutritious meals for the baby
• Perform light housekeeping duties while the baby naps (e.g., baby's laundry, tidying play areas, bottle washing)

Requirements:

• Teaching experience (Montessori or other early childhood education preferred)
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain, with the family covering costs)
• Warm, calming, and patient demeanor
• Must be highly engaging , enthusiastic about early learning and child development
• No driving required
