More than 30 years ago, credit union leaders founded OwnersChoice specifically to serve the unique mortgage requirements of credit unions and their members. Assisting credit unions with mortgage loan production and servicing has been a core part of our business since our inception. Successful candidate will be responsible for originating mortgage loans by creating mortgage lending solutions for prospective borrowers and client credit unions. This includes taking complete loan applications, providing financing options, and gathering any necessary documentation to support the loan decision. You will be required to meet established production standards by proactively identifying, building and maintaining a quality network of business relationships that serves as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities.
Ideal candidate will have at least three years experience as a loan officer or relevant work experience. MLO (Mortgage Loan Originator) licensure required subject to state eligibility and regulatory limitations.
Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills required. Must be customer satisfaction oriented along with having sales competencies. Must be self-motivated and goal driven. Must have knowledge of mortgage software and an understanding of state and federal loan regulations.
