Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovating and growing Product Development team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components and overall design. You will be working with a team of experienced engineers and professionals in an exciting and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new electro-mechanical products from concept to completion.
  • Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
  • Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.
  • Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
  • Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to accurately communicate design intent.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to define product specifications and requirements.
  • Implement and manage DFM (Design for Manufacturing) processes to optimize product design and performance.
  • Comply with ISO standards and regulations in all design and development processes.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, specifically with new product development.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical products design and development.
  • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and regulations, preferably ISO 13485.
  • Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
