Job Description

Hiwin Corporation is the leader in the innovation and manufacturing of motion control and mechatronic system technology. We are one of the largest producers in the world of linear motion components such as: linear guideways, ballscrews, linear motors and stages.

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to join our fast paced, diverse, and safety centric team.

Summary: With general supervision, assembles parts according to customer specifications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Reads work orders and follows the work requirements and assembly instructions according to customer specifications and schedule;
  2. Visually inspects each part. Removes and sets aside all non-conforming products as per inspection control plan;
  3. Reports all non-conforming parts and spare part shortage to the Assembly supervisor;
  4. Loads individual parts per job specifications into their designated storage areas;
  5. Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Ability to become familiar with all the company’s specifications and inspection standards;
  2. Ability to read simple drawings and to measure in Microns;
  3. Meticulous attention to detail;
  4. Good written and verbal communication skills;
  5. Good manual dexterity and agility;
  6. General math skills;
  7. Ability to continuously stand and walk throughout the day;
  8. Must be able to carry and/or lift to 50 pounds throughout the day.

Education:

  1. High school Diploma or equivalent.

Machines, Tools, and Equipment:

  1. Inspection measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers), power tools, computer.

Environmental Demands:

  1. Exposure to oils, fumes, grease and constant moderate noise.
