Do you have at least 2 years of machine operating in the metal industry ? Are you looking for a long term opportunity with a well-established company? Are you looking for a Second Chance company ? If so, you could be a great fit for this Cut to Length Machine Operator position with a steel and metal fabrication and distribution company . As part of the warehouse team, you'd operate a sit down forklift and assisting in other departments as needed.

This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire job with a steady Monday-Friday schedule on a day shift schedule. Lots of overtime available. 

Cut to Length Machine Operator Duties: 

1. Run and operate cut to length machine 
2. Pick and stage metal for fulfillment orders
3. Operate sit down forklift and side loader forklift
4. Package material to customer requirement

Schedule:

1. Monday through Friday some Saturdays- Lots of overtime available*
2. 3 different shifts:

1st shift- 4:30am-2:30pm

2nd Shift- 12pm-10pm

3rd Shift-9pm-6am

 

Pay: $18-$20 Based on Experience

 

Cut to Length Machine Operator Requirements: 

1. Minimum 2 Years of similar job experience
2. Successfully pass a skill based assessment
3. Must have at least two years working experience in the metals industry as a skilled machine operator. (CNC, Laser Cutting Machine, Slitting machine, cut to length machine.)
