We are accepting applications for Low-Voltage Technicians.

Job description

As a Low-Voltage Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low-voltage systems, such as security systems, fire alarm systems, and CCTV systems. This position will be in an industrial and commercial setting and will ensure that all low-voltage systems are installed professionally and to the specifications of our clients.

Work Details

• Perform installations, maintenance, repairing and troubleshooting of low-voltage systems to specifications, blueprints, and industry standards.
• Identifying, pulling, labeling, terminating and test category 5 and category 6 and fiber optic cable.
• Installation of various types of pathway support structures such as J-hooks, cable tray, and support rings.
• Coordinate with project manager and keep open line of communication on progress of project via daily logs, emails, phone calls, etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while representing I.C.E. Contractors, Inc.
• Ensure OSHA and Site-Specific safety compliance by following safety guidelines and practices continuously while on the job site.

Requirements :

• Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience with installations, maintenance, and repairing of low-voltage systems.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and have a clean driving record within the last three years.
• Valid Driver's License and dependable transportation.
• Experience with operating various types of man lifts and the ability to work at various different heights.
• Preferred OSAH 10/30 Certification
