Augmentjobs is seeking a skilled Leveraged Finance Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in investment banking specifically in leveraged finance and highyield debt. This role involves structuring and executing leveraged buyouts acquisition financing and other complex financial transactions working closely with senior bankers and clients. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills a deep understanding of financial modeling and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the execution of leveraged buyouts mergers acquisitions and other debt financings
Build and maintain financial models to assess transaction structures
Conduct due diligence and financial analysis on potential investment opportunities
Prepare presentation materials including pitch books and client reports
Liaise with clients legal teams and other financial professionals to facilitate transactions
Support senior team members in managing daytoday project requirements and deliverables
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field
35 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance investment banking or corporate finance
Strong knowledge of financial modeling capital markets and credit analysis
Skills:
Financial Modeling (Strong expertise in building complex financial models)
Debt Structuring (Deep understanding of leveraged finance structures and debt instruments)
Valuation Analysis (Proficient in valuation techniques including DCF precedent transactions and comparable companies)
Credit Analysis (Ability to evaluate credit risk and make informed recommendations)
Mergers & Acquisitions (Experience with M&A transactions and due diligence processes)
Communication Skills (Strong written and verbal communication skills capable of preparing presentations)
Project Management (Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines)
Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint (Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling and presentations)
Client Relationship Management (Experience interacting with clients and maintaining relationships)
