We are looking for a skilled and experienced landscaper to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining grounds by performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, planting, raking, sod laying, and outdoor projects.

You will also be responsible for assisting with winter snow removal operations on a part-time, on-call basis. This part-time position will transition to full-time employment in the spring.

Responsibilities:

• Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes
• Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, snow blowers , chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws
• Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws
• Assist with snow removal operations, including shoveling, snow blowing, and operating snow plows (if applicable).
• Gather and remove litter
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper is preferred
• Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools
• Experience with snow removal operations (preferred)
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time
• Willing to work in all weather elements
• Available on short notice to respond to snowstorms.
