PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team in support of our government customer, the NAVAIR Comptroller, in Patuxent River, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs tasks related to operations in support of the NAVAIR Comptroller Accounting Department including:

• Provide support to business process and accounting solutions for the accounting department.
• Respond to inquiries, assist in resolving accounting discrepancies, and prepare supporting documentation.
• Apply standard operating procedures and assist in obtaining necessary information to support accounting record reconciliation processes.
• Provide support for period end close to include Month End Close and Year End Close activities.
• Prepare and validate Journal Vouchers and create Field Level Journal Voucher (FLJV) packages.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have three (3) years of work experience to include finance or accounting

• Secret Clearnce
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Qualifications:

• NAWCAD/NAVAIR specific experience
• NAVY ERP experience / skill

Education Requirements:

• AS/AA degree

Education Substitution:

• High School Diploma/GED with at least four (4) additional years of related experience
