Weinacht & Associates has an immediate opening for highly technical, ambitious and reliable outside sales representative to sell multiple product lines to existing and new industrial distributors in our territory covering Eastern Wisconsin, Northern Illinois and Eastern Iowa.

Providing innovative, professional representation in a nine-state territory in the Midwest, Weinacht & Associates is a national leader in manufacturer representative firms in the industry. With headquarters in Collinsville, Illinois, our territory encompasses the states of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, North Dakota and South Dakota. This is driven by our sales representatives and marketing efforts.

This position requires up to 30% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with industrial distribution clients in assigned territory.
• Conduct site visits and meetings to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
• Achieve and exceed sales quotas and performance targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years of proven outside or technical sales experience AND/OR 3 years proven experience working in the welding or industrial industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory (valid driver’s license required).
