Job Overview

Just Right Reader is seeking an experienced Director of Partnerships passionate about literacy and eager to collaborate with school districts to improve reading outcomes. This is a full-time, remote sales role responsible for developing your territory, growing the pipeline, and onboarding new customers by understanding and addressing their literacy needs. Candidates should reside in Oregon, Washington, or Nevada, and have experience selling to school districts in these states.

Key Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with district leaders by understanding their early literacy needs and employing a consultative sales approach
• Develop your territory and maintain a healthy pipeline through regional relationships, attending conferences, and understanding regional initiatives and funding sources
• Achieve or surpass sales targets for Classroom Libraries and Decodable Packs
• Utilize sales tools effectively (e.g., Hubspot)
• Travel for conferences and meetings as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years sales experience, preferably in K-12 education
• 3+ years experience as a principal or district leader with knowledge of schools and district operations
• Strong organizational skills and ownership mentality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to share learnings
• Deep empathy for educators and a passion for early literacy; teaching or district leadership experience preferred
