Jenny Bour with Robert Half is working with an exciting company that is seeking an HR Specialist to join their team! This HR Specialist role involves a balance between recruitment and HR operations, with an emphasis on overseeing HR processes, collaborating with a diverse team, and effectively utilizing data tracking tools. The ideal candidate for this HR Specialist role should have a passion for people, excellent organizational skills, and a strong knowledge of HR processes. This position is based out of Buffalo, NY and offers a hybrid schedule !

Responsibilities will include...

• Oversee various HR processes such as onboarding, background checks, and contract reviews
• Handle full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes
• Employee Relations - Assist employees with any questions/concerns, assist with HR or benefit related questions
• Collaborate with a team of HR professionals supporting multiple offices across the US and Canada
• Utilize Excel for efficient HR data tracking and reporting
• Coordinate day-to-day operations with the HR team

• 2+ years of human resources experience is preferred
• Experience working in ADP is a plus
• Experience in managing Benefit Functions is a plus
• Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Understanding of Compliance rules and regulations in HR
• Ability to handle Employee Relations and solve disputes effectively
• Experience in Recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing and onboarding employees, is preferred
