Job Description

We are in search of a Head of Wellness. The position will develop, implement, and promote a corporate wellness program that aligns with company values and business objectives. Wellness duties including, but not limited to: coordinating nutrition & fitness classes, promote and create awareness of health initiatives, motivate employees to actively participate in wellness programs and utilize the fitness center, perform research on relevant health & wellness topics, planning of all wellness programs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Shape a wellness strategy around fitness, nutrition, stress management, and work-life integration playing a key role in the engagement, care, and retention of our amazing professionals.
  • Coordinate fun and meaningful wellness events throughout the year designed to promote a healthy lifestyle while enhancing employee engage and overall job satisfaction (for example, charity fun runs/walks/rides, health awareness days, etc.).
  • Lead fitness instructor for classes such as Pilates, yoga, strength training, etc. using external providers when necessary.
  • Exemplifies and promotes the wellness mission “Strong in Mind, Strong in Body”.
  • Develops relationships with employees to promote participation in the program and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA and any other regulatory requirements associated with operating a corporate wellness program.
  • Generate a monthly calendar for all wellness activities including employee wellness programs, fitness center classes, on-site wellness events, and employee lunches.
  • Sends weekly reminders about upcoming fitness classes, wellness events and employee fit meals.
  • Delivers wellness presentations in front of large audiences.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and reports on the overall effectiveness of the program on a regular, ongoing basis using data and feedback to improve wellness strategies.
  • Work closely with the Talent Team, leadership, and external vendors to leverage collective knowledge/resources and to integrate wellness initiatives into broader organizational strategies.

 

Qualifications

  • BS or BA in a health and fitness related field.
  • 3 years’ of experience in a fitness or wellness role.
  • At least one year experience designing and implementing a successful corporate wellness program.
  • Specialty certification in fitness or wellness is preferred.
  • Possess excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to motivate others.
  • Collaborate and work with a diverse group as part of a high energy team.
