Job Description Project details: •We are looking for a Senior technologist who can work independently with all stake holders - development team(s), our GIS core unit, business partners - and develop/implement high quality GIS based solutions.
•This individual should be able to work directly with business partners in understanding the requirements, participate in solutioning meetings, and implement GIS Technology based solutions satisfying those requirements.
•While a major portion of this role is developing Geo spatial solutions in an agile team setting leveraging GIS related technologies, we are expecting this individual to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, be a team player who has a strong initiative to bring forward new ideas and help us deliver impactful solutions to our business partners.
•This individual will be a self-starter, working in a team setting where collaboration is a key to success, and should have the ability to support development work in a multi-project environment with ability to appropriately juggle and prioritize delivery of their work across their project commitments meeting the stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications •Geospatial Solutions Developer Senior will have ample technical capabilities with a minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant experience, relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
•Software Engineer with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
•Primary job functions will require exercising a moderate level of independent judgment.
