The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Forensics / Malware Analyst to support our government customer located in Fort Shafter, Hawai'i.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze, correlate, and trend anomalous events and incidents to characterize threats or incidents discovered throughout an advanced network logging infrastructure. Utilize and develop state-of-the-art security solutions and digital forensic tools to perform automatic analysis of network and host traffic. Keep pace with the fast-moving cyber warfare environment, while mentoring other analysts to deter threats affecting users within the Pacific region. Engage in professional development to support current and future mission requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in cyber network defense and analysis. Experience leading cyber warfare investigations. DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certifications for CSSP-Analyst: (CEH, CySA+, CFR, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, SCYBER). Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred). Industry certifications in offensive, forensic, and defensive cyber (preferred).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Utilize advanced detection capabilities for IDS, IPS, SIEM, and digital forensic solutions. Understand network infrastructure, data routing, and data set locations for timely analysis. Lead investigations of anomalous activities. Facilitate reporting and situational awareness for ongoing efforts. Collaborate with Law Enforcement and Counter-Intelligence agencies for investigations. Create reports for technical and non-technical audiences. Mentor analysts and update incident response procedures based on lessons learned. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Non-expired passport required for travel abroad, possibly once a year.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
