We are partnered with a well-known and respected Food Manufacturing Company in the area of Minneapolis Minnesota who are seeking an experienced and driven Food Safety/QA Manager to lead and oversee food safety initiatives. In this role, you will guide the company’s food safety and quality control efforts, ensuring all products meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards. Working closely with various departments, you'll spearhead the development and implementation of robust food safety protocols and lead a high-performing team committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation, execution, and improvement of the company's food safety and quality systems, including SQF and HACCP programs.
• Ensure all products comply with industry standards and regulations (e.g., USDA), maintaining close communication with regulatory bodies.
• Supervise and mentor the food safety team, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations, serving as the main point of contact for external audits and certifications.
• Continuously review and refine quality assurance processes to ensure product specifications and safety protocols are consistently met.

Qualifications:

• SQF Practitioner and HACCP Certifications are required.
• Experience in the beef industry is required, with experience on the slaughter side, preferred
• Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus

Pay:$90,000.00 - $115,000.00
