Prime Air is seeking an experienced Flight Support Assistant.
The Flight Support Assistant will work closely with crew members.
Candidates must be self-driven and responsible.
As a company regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), we require all employees with safety sensitive duties to comply with FAA drug and alcohol testing regulations. This includes pre-employment drug testing, random drug and alcohol testing, and testing in the event of an accident or incident. Employees must also submit to reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing when necessary. The FAA has strict requirements for drug testing, including the types of drugs tested for, the procedures for collecting and testing samples, and the consequences for a positive test. Compliance with FAA drug testing regulations is essential for ensuring the safety of our employees, customers, and the public.
Duties include:
• Assisting in crew briefings, mission planning, and performing critical roles in field operations
• Ensuring a safe operational environment
• Export Control License
• This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazons ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
Daily Schedule:
• Part of the Flight crew
• Prepare for the day’s operations
• Work with aircraft and flight operations equipment
• Work on operation to deliver package
• Installing batteries, moving aircraft to/from flight line.
• Working with operator in command to complete checklists safely
• Creating SOPs for Processes
Basic Qualifications:
• Have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent
• Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
• Able to lift equipment and carry out physical activity with or without reasonable accommodation
• 2+ years of work experience or a completed associate’s degree
• Hold a current and valid FAA Part 107
• Able to pass Amazon Motor Vehicle Check
• Able to Pass an FAA mandated Drug Screening
• Willing to travel up to 2 weeks at a time
