Just Salad is hiring a Finance & Data Analyst to support our fast-growing, data-driven restaurant company. This role is critical to scaling our data infrastructure and analytics stack across 100+ stores (and growing fast). You’ll be embedded in the Finance team but work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Tech, and Marketing.

We need someone who can go beyond reporting—someone who enjoys cleaning and transforming messy data, aligning it across systems, and building the foundation for analysis in Snowflake, which will power our BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.). If you're excited to get into the weeds of data and also surface insights that impact real business decisions, this is for you.

Location: On-site NYC (In-Office, Remote Friday)

Reports to Director of Finance and work closely with our Finance + Business Analytics

Key Responsibilities

Data Infrastructure & Enablement

• Extract, clean, and align data from multiple sources (ordering platforms, labor/payroll, POS, inventory)
• Support data pipeline design and transformation work for our Snowflake data warehouse
• Help stand up BI dashboards (e.g., PowerBI) by building reliable, organized, queryable datasets, and enable AI-driven analysis
• Partner with Finance/Tech to ensure data is analysis-ready for the Exec Team and department leaders

Customer & Marketing Analytics

• Support loyalty/CRM initiatives: engagement, retention, offer redemptions, LTV, and CAC
• Build dashboards to track guest frequency, churn, segmentation, and campaign effectiveness

Supply Chain Analytics

• Own menu cost tracking and price setting analysis
• Help build and manage MarginEdge (database for food and packaging purchases) and vendor APIs
• Set up dashboards for sustainability (GHG emissions, utilities), pricing, and inventory forecasting

Cross-functional Reporting & Insights

• Present insights to senior leadership in a clear, concise way
• Support business cases and financial modeling for menu changes, promotions, personalization engines, and other strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in analytics (finance, customer, or supply chain); Restaurant or consumer-facing brand experience a plus
• Proficiency in Excel; bonus for SQL and Snowflake experience
• Exposure to AI tools and techniques (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, CoPilot) to support data analysis, automation, or insight generation
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI
• Comfortable working with raw, unstructured data and aligning it across systems
• Collaborative mindset, strong communicator, business-curious, and systems-oriented
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—clear, concise, and effective across all levels of the organization, both written and verbal.

Benefits:

• Annual Salary of $90,000 - $115,000 + eligible to participate in our corporate bonus program. Salary dependent on experience
