Job Description: Boutique firm in Downtown Los Angeles seeks an Entry Level Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their team. The ideal Paralegal/Legal Assistant has recently graduated with their bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate and is eager to assist with litigation matters from inception through trial.
Paralegal/Legal Assistant Job Duties:
- Organize and prepare documents for trials, hearings, and depositions such as binders and associated paperwork
- Assist with reprographics including printing, scanning, copying, and faxing various documents
- Gather information for case intake and update clients on case matters
- Schedule and set up conferences, meetings, hearings, court reporters
- Create Powerpoint presentations and other demonstrative aids
- Create charts with client data and information
Paralegal/Legal Assistant Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree OR Paralegal Certificate required
- Compulaw experience preferred
- Prior experience working in a law firm strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Westlaw, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office strongly preferred
