Daily Racing Form and DRF en Español are seeking interns to work during the summer of 2025.

Current college students or recent graduates are sought for approximately five weeks or more between June and August for a paid internship. Applicants will be considered for writing, editing, or video production roles.

Applicants within commuting distance of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Potential Roles:
Reporting:

• Report and write content for Daily Racing Form ’s newspaper and website, including race previews, recaps, news stories, and features.

Video Production

• Produce video content for use on DRF’s YouTube channel and other social-media platforms.
• Conduct interviews with jockeys, trainers, and other racing participants.
• Shoot B-Roll for use other DRF videos.

Editing / Web Production:

• Assist DRF’s copy desk to edit stories for use in print and on the website.
• Manage editorial pages on DRF.com to ensure content is up to date.

Job Requirements:

• Writing and reporting experience and an ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to understand and interpret Daily Racing Form past performances.
• Willingness to work weekends and have the flexibility to work varying schedules based on the racing schedule.
• An understanding of horse racing, including its jargon, terminology.

• Strong writing skills with a grasp of grammar and general newspaper style.
• Proficiency in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience in graphic design using Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and Illustrator.
• Applicants fluent in Spanish may be considered for DRF en Español.
