2nd Shift Warehouse Workers – PM start times – (THIS IS AN ON-SITE SWING SHIFT DOCK WORKER POSITION)

Prior Forklift Experience Helpful

We are seeking candidates for the 2nd shift Warehouse Associates (Los Angeles/Santa Fe Springs)

Compensation: $19.00 per hour to start

Hours & Schedule: **6pm to 2:30am, Monday to Friday, weekends off **Overtime allowed if approved**

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Load and unload freight in a safe, efficient manner to avoid shipping errors that result in customer claims or complaints.
• Load and unload trailers
• Perform re-weighs for each shift
• Perform daily freight inspections and inspections of lift truck and other equipment
• Inspects trailers for suitability before loading
• Perform basic housekeeping
• Recoup/palletize/shrink wrap freight as needed
• Perform other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of basic dock procedure
• Forklift experience in a dock setting
• Ability to identify, and report on recurring problems/safety issues
• 1-2 years of forklift experience
• Forklift certification is wanted but not required
