Digital Forensic Analyst The Department of Investigation seeks a skilled Digital Forensic Analyst to support confidential investigations by retrieving, reviewing, and analyzing digital evidence from electronic devices, including laptops, desktops, servers, mobile devices, tablets, and CCTV systems. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining chain of custody, logging and securing property, assisting with search warrants, and collaborating with investigators and the Cyber Investigation Unit, which handles cybersecurity investigations and OSINT research. Minimum Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent plus four years of experience in investigation, law enforcement, security, or a related field; or A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution; or Equivalent education and/or experience as above. Preferred Skills Baccalaureate degree in Forensic Computing, Computer Science, or related field. Experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or forensic computing. Certifications such as CCE, CFCE, EnCE, GCFA, GCFE, SCERS, COMPTIA, CHFI, CEH, GBFA, or similar. Experience with forensic tools and conducting examinations of digital media and devices. Ability to analyze social media profiles and websites for forensic purposes. Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux, UNIX). Hardware troubleshooting skills.
