Job Title: DevOps Red Hat Platform Engineer – hybrid
Clearance Requirement : Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in
designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-level platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise
in Red Hat Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices, coupled with the ability to operate in a
secure and dynamic environment. Your work will directly support mission-critical systems and
infrastructure.
Education & Experience (Required):
• Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in platform engineering, system administration, or
related fields.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Red Hat Linux system administration.
o Strong expertise in Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
o Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation tools.
o Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in distributed environments.
• Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Design, implement, and maintain platform solutions using Red Hat Linux.
• Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker.
• Orchestrate and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes.
• Apply DevOps practices to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate platform management
processes.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and high availability of mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure and platform requirements.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to current
systems.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
