Recently acquired by a larger industrial group, this growing company specializes in the design, qualification, and certification of critical aerospace components. About Our Client: 30-40 employee engineering and manufacturing facility Family-oriented culture with long-term employee retention Recently acquired, providing stability with room for growth Focused on high-quality aerospace component design and repair Core Responsibilities: Design and qualify aerospace components using both metallic and non-metallic materials Create solid models and detailed manufacturing drawings using CAD software Develop and oversee material qualification testing plans Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering for production transition Prepare technical data packages and certification reports Optimize product designs for cost, weight, and robustness Support problem-solving throughout manufacturing and qualification phases Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software Understanding of GD&T standards and measurement practices Strong technical writing skills Microsoft Office proficiency Preferred Experience: 5 years of engineering experience Manufacturing environment background Experience with hands-on projects (automotive, woodwork, metal fabrication) Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems Familiarity with aerospace industry standards What They Offer: Competitive base salary: $90,000-$115,000 Annual bonus potential: 10% Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) 13 paid holidays Flexible work schedule Tools provided Relocation assistance available Small company atmosphere with direct impact Professional growth opportunities Culture & Environment: This is a collaborative environment where engineers are encouraged to be hands-on and take ownership of their projects.
