Job Title: Sr Structural Designer
Job Duration: 12 months
Est. Pay Range: $45.00- $50.00
Work Type: Remote with travel to Brihmingham, AL


Overview/ Responsibilities:


The base location is the Energy Center but we are currently remote working, however, this may change with time. This position may require visits to plants primarily in Alabama but some sites are located throughout the southeast.


Required Skills/ Qualification/ Education:


High school graduate or equivalent required with additional technical training or experience.
2. Position requires a minimum of 10 - 20+ years' experience in Civil/Structural design and detailing of industrial and/or large commercial facilities.
3. Steel/concrete detailing experience is required.
4. Proficiency with creating in AutoCAD steel and concrete drawings for industrial or commercial projects.
5. Foundation layout and details.
6. Structural Steel layout and details.
5. Have 3D modeling experience and produce clear, concise drawings. Experience with Advance Steel is a plus.
6. Good organization skills with ability to balance multiple projects.
7. Experience in performing site walkdowns, performing steel inspections and writing site reports is a plus.
