Job Title: Data Architect

Location: Jersey City, NJ. 07310

Duration: 6 Month of Project (Extension or Conversion based on performance and business need)

Pay Rate: $80/hr. - $90/hr. on W2 (without benefits)

Job Summary:

• Expert in data architecture disciplines
• Expert in architecture and design across all systems of the LOB.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• This is a Data Governance position in Infrastructure Platforms LOB in the Technology Reference Data Product Line.

Additional Skills:

• Fluency in Data/Information architecture and design across all systems, and knowledge in at least one area of infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Significant hands-on experience with Logical Data Modelling using Magic Draw, Erwin, Power Designer, ERStudio, or similar UML modelling tool
• Highly knowledgeable with implementation experience about relevant Data Management & Governance including: Data Glossaries, Taxonomy management, Master Data Management, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Privacy , Data Classification, Data Discovery – demonstrable practical experience in as many of these as possible.
• Evidence of Adherence to Compliance Policies and Procedures
• Understanding of data security and best practices and compliance requirements such as GDPR, CCPA to protect sensitive information
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP and experience in designing cloud based solutions
• Working Knowledge of Data Communication Formats such as XML, JSON, Avro and RDF
• Broad expertise in data technologies; i.e., Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, ETL, data quality concepts, Business Intelligence tools and analytical tools, unstructured data, AI/ML
• Experience in designing and implementing data architecture frameworks and standards
• Technical understanding of common relational DBMS; i.e., SQL Server ,Oracle, etc.
• Deep familiarity with various types of nonrelational DBMS ( Cassandra , MongoDB , CockroachDB, GraphDB )
• Demonstrable success in defining and implementing multiple Enterprise grade Data Models; must be able to show experience modelling data management and/or other architectural metadata.
• Strong Communication skills oral and written.
