Job Description

Job Title: Cytotechnologist Location: Clermont, FL Salary: Competitive, based on experience Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team in Clermont, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining cellular samples to detect abnormalities and assist in diagnosing diseases. Responsibilities:

Prepare and stain cytological specimens
Examine samples under a microscope for abnormalities
Document findings and communicate results to pathologists
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
Participate in quality control and assurance programs

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or related field
Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
