The Role We’re looking for a smart, energetic and highly creative Copywriter to join our fully remote, award-winning internal agency. If you’ve got 2+ years of solid copywriting experience under your belt, a love for learning and a desire to work in a friendly, fast-paced B2B tech environment, then we’d love to hear from you! The Main Responsibilities In this role, you’ll be a core member of our growing copy team, working hand-in-hand with UX, Video, Design, Project Management, and more to deliver industry-leading creative across our enterprise tech portfolio. Work from a creative brief to generate strong, results-driven concepts Research, write, and deliver content drawing on internal subject matter experts and your know-how Understand, implement, and champion the Lumen brand voice Present your ideas internally to peers, leads, and managers Deliver the final creative that meets the team’s strategic objectives Coordinate and collaborate across groups to create world-class content for web, digital, video, social, and more Manage multiple projects and deliver work in a timely manner What You’ll Need to Succeed Ability to tell concise, compelling, and customer-centric stories Ability to take complex technical information and deliver it in a simple, easy-to-comprehend manner Great communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work autonomously when needed and provide work on a tight schedule Willingness to take risks, make mistakes, and never stop learning A love for creativity, exploration, and innovation in all its forms Basic understanding of AP style guide What We Look For In a Candidate 2+ years of relevant copywriting experience (or a combination of copywriting + other writing experience) Strong, well-rounded writing skills Experience writing for web, social, digital, and other channels Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Ability to learn and apply new technical concepts Comfortable working in PowerPoint, Word, and project management tools (think Workfront, Bynder, Asana, etc.) Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills Knowledge of basic branding concepts Comfortable working remotely full-time Portfolio website and/or digital samples of past work Compensation This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.
