Role Description
Field Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen, refrigeration and HVAC equipment at our customer locations throughout North Georgia. Provide preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls on equipment including coolers, freezers, walk ins, ice makers, margarita machines, prep tables and etc. Must be self motivated and willing to learn and challenge yourself daily.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair of commercial refrigeration equipment. Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism at all times. Complete service calls in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with Customers, Service Manager, Dispatcher, and Salesmen.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
Participate in an on-call work rotation of after-hours and weekend standby duty.
Identify new customers and additional opportunities within our existing accounts.
Maintain and clean your Service vehicle.
Order parts and complete the required paperwork.
Company provides tools and transportation.
Qualifications
5 years MINIMUM of commercial refrigeration equipment service experience.
Technical School HVAC/R diploma preferred.
Must have strong electrical and mechanical skills.
Must have strong customer communication skills.
Must be dedicated to customer service and must be on time to work and well organized.
Must be able to pass a Drug screen and a criminal background check.
Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record.
Must be willing to perform on-call duties and work after normal business hours, as needed.

Experience:
Refrigeration: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Preferred)

Desired Characteristics:
Experience with Walk-in Coolers and Freezers, Reach in Coolers and Freezers.
CFESA certification and Factory training a plus.
Must be computer literate.

Salary: $65,000.00 - 80,000.00 per year
