About the Position:

The Clinical Field Trainer is responsible for assisting in the development and facilitation for both new hire and ongoing training to Field Nurse Educators (FNEs) across Momentum. This role will support the implementation of training content and initiatives at Momentum. They will assist and collaborate with field managers and cross-functional teams to implement new hire training, refresher/quality training and any other identified ongoing training needs. This would include development of training to develop comprehensive training and refresher programs for the team, working with managers to identify individual team needs and developmental areas, identify training gaps and initiating a training plan to address and align teams.

  • Act as subject matter expert in product/program/disease state, HCP and patient engagements, system, programs, and processes for field programs and virtual as needed

  • Management of new hire training and refresher training for the field teams

  • On going collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders, including Managers, Client Solutions, and client leadership to ensure training content is relevant and up to date

  • Manage training content, agendas, and facilitation for new program launches

  • Partner with IT and cross functional teams for new program launches

  • Conduct field visits observing, identifying coaching and training needs

  • If training needs are identified, lead efforts to create, gain proper approval (internally and externally) and facilitate training

  • Manage agendas and curriculum within learning platforms

  • Conduct (internal) field calibrations, participate in monthly client call calibrations, to identify training opportunities, and proactively communicate across all levels of the organization

  • Partner with field managers to address training gaps and initiate plans and curriculum to ensure alignment

  • Foster the MLS culture within the team to inspire and motivate and develop positive team norms as it relates to company culture, behaviors, and performance

  • Train FNEs to improve their confidence and performance in program/system knowledge base by observing them on field and virtual engagements assessing their needs and completing appropriate coaching and training

  • Maintain and be intimately familiar with all clients’ operational practices and procedures and ensure compliance and quality standards

  • Assist in performing quality audits and call monitoring on the FNEs interactions to ensure adherence and compliance to best practices

  • Document, update, and maintain all content within MLS learning management systems or knowledge management system

  • Participate in project and system testing and requirements

  • Monitor team feedback and collect vital insights to assist in overall goals and initiatives

  • Expert in troubleshooting IT and systems issues

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license with 3+ years clinical experience

  • 3+ years of field experience with both patient & HCP engagement experience

  • Previous experience in a clinical leadership and/or training role in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience in developing training materials

  • Understands the pharmaceutical industry as it relates to the clinical educator role.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and grit

  • Experience using multiple software applications within a multiple-screen environment including Microsoft products

  • Ability to utilize reporting and data to develop training plans and coach appropriate behaviors

Required License and/or credential(s):

  • RN or NP

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Experience with being held accountable to metrics and maintaining a high standard of work in a real-time interactive environment

  • Experience in Salesforce, Power BI, and other programs essential to success in this role

Special Position Requirements:

Travel:

  • As necessary; 15% field related travel as well as live training attendance

Working Conditions:

Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Ability to communicate effectively (hear, listen, speak) with or without reasonable accommodations.
