About the Role
The Company is seeking a Full-Time Chief of Staff to the President. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and operational oversight to the President's Office, contributing to the achievement of the college's mission and goals. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, fostering internal and external relations, ensuring operational efficiency, and managing the flow of information. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in community engagement and will serve as a liaison to the Board of Trustees. The role demands a professional with a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred), proven leadership experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to the college's mission. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should be prepared to work in a dynamic, diverse, and innovative environment. The role requires a candidate with a background in a leadership role, preferably in a higher education or non-profit setting, and experience in budget management. Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus. The Chief of Staff will be expected to counsel the President, oversee the President's Office staff, and ensure that all special projects are managed effectively.
