Job Summary and Qualifications

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care by leading clinical and quality initiatives, supporting consistent performance and standards across the hospital. The CMO provides senior leadership in infection control, risk management, safety, and credentialing, fostering collaboration among stakeholders. The role involves analyzing quality performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to hospital strategy and service development to ensure quality management and an excellent patient experience.

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Lead clinical performance to ensure superior outcomes and patient experience.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve medical staff effectiveness.
  • Facilitate teamwork and shared goals among medical staff and management.
  • Support cost-effective resource management and clinical efficiency.
  • Create a data-driven environment for quality and cost improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between physicians and clinical services.
  • Develop management expertise among medical staff leaders through education programs.
  • Lead educational sessions on clinical resource management and quality improvement.
  • Gather feedback from physician advisory panels and serve as a liaison to leadership.
  • Promote clinical initiatives and technologies to physicians.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and other departments on formulary and supply opportunities.
