About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President of Clinical Affairs to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of essential duties, including patient and customer relations, staff relations and team building, clinical and administrative duties, performance improvement activities, and safety/infection control activities. This role requires a physician with a license to practice in Virginia, current board certification, and a minimum of 10-15 years of proven clinical and executive leadership experience. The CMO/EVPCA will be expected to provide inspiring and accountable leadership, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and ensure the highest quality of care for patients. Key qualifications for this position include the ability to work collaboratively, prioritize deliverables, and lead and supervise clinical staff with humility and executive presence. The ideal candidate will have experience in FQHC and with accountable care organizations (ACO) or clinically integrated networks. They must be adept at analyzing complex information, setting priorities, and making decisions on critical healthcare programs and issues. The role also involves fostering a positive workplace culture, adhering to the company's core values of respect, integrity, excellence, innovation, and teamwork, and maintaining all necessary professional licenses and certifications. The CMO/EVPCA will be a key leader in the organization, representing the company in various professional and community settings, and will be expected to be physically present and actively engaged in the role.
