Huber Cabinet Works is seeking a Cabinet Maker to become a part of our team! We are a union architectural millwork company located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, specializing in high-end commercial interiors . We collaborate with Chicago’s finest contractors on projects for some of the most well-known corporations in the world !

Responsibilities:

• Assemble custom cabinetry, millwork, and architectural woodwork
• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints to ensure precision in fabrication
• Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently, including hand routers, table saws, and edge banders
• Work with a variety of materials, including plywood, MDF, veneer paneling, plastic laminate, and solid wood
• Collaborate with the shop foreman and fellow cabinetmakers to maintain efficient workflow
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Ensure quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all projects

Qualifications:

• Experience in a custom millwork or cabinet shop preferred
• Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings/blueprints
• Proficiency with woodworking tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-end production environment
