Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Buyer to join our fast- paced engineering team. This position is an integral part of our supply chain operations and plays a key role in managing the purchasing expenditures and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic procurement, sourcing, and supplier management. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team and independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new vendors, selecting suppliers, and negotiating contracts to ensure the best value for our company. Responsibilities:

1. Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
2. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve

effectiveness. 3. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms. 4. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation. 5. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer- supplier power. 6. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. 7. Assess, manage, and mitigate risks. 8. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. 9. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries. 10. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2. Proven 5+ years of experience as a buyer in the engineering industry. 3. Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management. 4. Interest in market dynamics along with a business sense. 5. A knack for negotiation and networking. 6. Solid judgment with the ability to make good decisions. 7. Proficient in supplier relationship management. 8. Excellent knowledge of purchasing expenditures and budgeting. 9. Ability to gather and analyze data and work with figures. 10. Certification in supply chain management or related field is a plus.
