Position Overview:

PsychiaTreat is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days a week. This role offers an exciting career path with the potential to grow into a Full-Charge Bookkeeper and eventually a Controller position. Experience in the mental health sector is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare and process payroll, including managing benefits and deductions.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and budget preparation.
• Support audits and ensure timely tax filings.
• Assist with transitioning to a Full-Charge Bookkeeper role and eventually a Controller position.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
