Role Overview: You will be operations focused, leading a team that provides Business as Usual (BAU) support, ensuring all planned and corrective maintenance duties are performed effectively and timely. This includes supporting HVAC, Electrical, Water, and Steam systems at the GSK Stevenage site, with potential expansion to other sites. You will have management responsibility for the BMS/Controls Team, collaborating with the BMS Systems Manager and client representatives to ensure all aspects of the BMS and controlled systems are effectively serviced and maintained. Driving a safety culture within the team. Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders for exceptional feedback. Leading and motivating the team for excellent service delivery. Ensuring compliance with SOPs, GXP, legislation, and statutory requirements. Setting SMART goals for continual improvement and innovation. Managing systems like Building Maintenance Systems, JCI Metasys, PLC alarms. Key Responsibilities include: Ensuring safety through risk assessments and hazard identification. Maintaining high standards of quality and system effectiveness. Developing communication plans and reporting on system alarms and issues. Providing investment plans based on CMMS data. Building relationships with planning teams and managing maintenance schedules. Promoting innovation and continuous improvement. Managing on-site PLC backups and client communications about system changes. Conducting performance reviews, training, and succession planning. Person Specification: Who you'll be: Experienced Hard Services Manager with at least 5 years managing teams in building services. NVQ, City & Guilds, or ONC Electrical or HVAC qualification.
